Jerry West is a native of Waxahachie, Texas. He grew up in Dallas and moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1975. Jerry came from a musical family and received his earliest musical training from his mother on piano while still a toddler. He joined the school band to study clarinet in the fourth grade and also sang in various church choirs. A clarinet major, he completed his Bachelor of Music Education degree at Oklahoma Baptist University and received a master's degree in conducting from Oklahoma State University. Upon completion of a successful 20-year career as a band director, Jerry decided to study guitar formally at Musician's Institute in Hollywood. He has written five sight-reading books, helped develop the Digimet brand of metronomes, and maintains a small studio of private students.

Chris Green has been involved in the pageantry arts for over 25 years. He holds a Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Music Composition from Gardner-Webb University in NC. 

Chris has been active in Drum & Bugle Corps as a performer (Carolina Crown, Carolina Gold, Gulf Coast Sound, Frontier, The Outlaws), Arranger/Instructor/Brass Caption Head (Blue Stars, Memphis Sound, Forte, Carolina Gold, Gulf Coast Sound, Frontier, The Outlaws), Board of Directors member, Consultant (Genesis, 37th Kingswood, and others) and Former Director of Memphis Sound, Frontier and Forte (the latter two he also founded). 

Outside of Drum Corps, Chris has been an adjudicator, arranger and clinician for marching, concert, jazz bands, winter percussion and winterguards across the country. Chris served as the Director of Bands for Adamson HS in Dallas TX from 2010 - 2016 taking the program from 12 to over 200, winning accolades in USBands, BOA, and NTCA. He won the Dallas Rotary Club Teacher of the Year in 2014, and was the Adamson HS Teacher of the Year through the Distinguished Teacher Review in 2015. He also won the Farmer's Insurance Dream Big Teacher of the Year grant to provide $100,000 worth of new equipment for the Band Program. 

Currently Chris serves as the Artistic Director for Central Florida Sounds of Freedom, Teaches musical theater, Represents Fruhauf Uniforms, Director's Assistant, and Marching Apparel for the state of Florida, and runs the Saint Petersburg Opera company, along with consultant work with drum corps and marching bands across the country.

Scott Litzenberg was the Corps Director of the Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps from 2018-2019. Scott is also a retired head High School Band Director, after 34 years. Most recently from Unionville HS, in Kennett Square PA.The bands have received numerous superior ratings at concert, jazz and marching festivals in his 34 years of teaching. He directed the Cavalcade of Bands Tournament of Roses Parade Honor Band in 2015.

He is the past Cavalcade of Band President, DCI Event Manager and head tabulator, and a WGI Contest Administrator.

Scott works part-time as an Event Manager at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square PA and works with the visiting artists as they perform at the gardens. He is also the Principal Timpanist with the Chester County Pops Orchestra and a charter member of that ensemble.

A 1984 Graduate of West Chester University with a B.S. in Music Education, he is a past member of the Garfield Cadets, past director of the Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps and is a member of the Drum Corps International Board of Directors. Scott is a member of Phi Beta Mu and is an alumnus of Kappa Kappa Psi and Phi Mu Alpha Music Fraternities.

He resides in Kennett Square PA with his cat Ritzy and dog Beau. Hobbies include gardening and woodworking. . He is a proud parent of Kristin Litzenberg, an actor in New York City, who has performed in two Broadway tours of Sister Act in the US and Asia and is a graduate of AMDA, the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.

James Hensley’s experiences in the marching arts spans 30 years as a performer, instructor and drill designer. Mr. Hensley Received his Bachelors of Music degree from California State University, Long Beach, where he studied Music Education. He holds teaching licenses in California and Indiana. Mr. Hensley currently lives in Northwest Indiana and teaches music at the middle school level.

Mr. Hensley’s teaching experiences include teaching music to all ages from Kindergarten to High School. He was a member of the Pacific Crest Drum and Bugle Corps and was on the brass staff in 1998.

Mr. Hensley is the Owner of The Marching Warehouse. The Marching Warehouse is a one stop shop for all of your marching arts needs including music, visual design services, and marching and concert band accessories.  Mr. Hensley is a sought-out clinician and designer for many groups across the country.

Edward is the former President of Marching World International, who originally served as U.S. Liaison for a Japanese publisher of a monthly magazine of the same name.  He was also the founder and co-director of Yamato Drum and Bugle Corps, a multi-cultural entity which recruited its members from Japan and the U.S. and competed in Drum Corps International’s Division II and III.  As director of Yamato, Edward served on the DCI Division II & III Advisory Committee and was Vice Chairman.  Edward was also voted Division II & III’s Director of the Year in 2006. 

 

Today, Edward is Operations Manager for Pacific Crest Youth Arts Organization who manages the organization food service program, its volunteer recruitment, tour planning and management.  In addition, Edward is a member of Pacific Crest’s Merchandise Committee who works with the board of directors and advisory committee in its product development, design, marketing and sales.

Kenny Davies lives in Kansas and has been a representative of the Marching Apparel since 2017. He has extensive knowledge of the Marching Arts, having competed six years with the Sacramento Mandarins Drum and Bugle Corps, as well as participating in college and high school marching bands, WGI winter percussion, and local community concert bands. He has over ten years’ experience as a high school visual technician and caption head and served as show coordinator for the Silks and Sounds Spectacular Marching Band Competition. He has also worked as a Souvenir Tour Manager for the Mandarins Souvenir team.

Kenny’s experience gives him a unique ability to understand and discuss the needs of each customer, whether it is an order for a small ensemble or a large band.

Kevin Bell has been involved in the marching activity for over 32 years. He currently serves as an adjudicator for Winter Guard International and specializes in the Percussion Visual caption. Kevin is also the current Vice President of Adjudication for the California State Band Championship circuit in Southern California. Primarily recognized as a full-time visual designer, clinician and adjudicator for some of the most esteemed Winter Guard and Percussion circuits around the country, as well as many State Marching Band Championships. Kevin is also a former WGI Color Guard judge, DCI Visual judge and DCA Visual judge.  Before entering the full-time pageantry world, Kevin was a Sales and Project manager in both the Promotional Appeal and Signage industry with many large accounts, so of which were built around the marching activity. Currently Kevin lives in Hanover Township, Pennsylvania.
